Up there in the center of the flag you'll see a hardworking farmer. Surprisingly enough he isn't depicted wearing shorts. Yesterday the temperature here got up to 49 degrees. On my drive to teach last night I saw cars with windows rolled down, a convertible with the top down, and my first sighting of shorts this spring. When I pulled into the parking lot the park was inundated with folks playing soccer. Soccer playing on the snow/ ice- not just one game but multiple games. Today the weather has rain in the forecast! Yippee!
