Chicago!

Anyone up for a road trip? I have been accepted to Yarn Con in Chicago! The first ever fiber festival in the city! Join me at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse on October 13th, 2007 Check out the website for details!
Also, I totally spaced posting this ( sorry Windy City Gals! )
If you are going to be in the Chicago land area . . .
Three great class offerings!

Arnhild Hillesland, a native of Norway, specializes in two color knitting and she will be teaching three classes during the weekend of October 19-21, 2007 presented by the Windy City Knitting Guild (WCKG).

Friday night October 19 - Slide Show on Traveling and Knitting in Norway 6:30pm-8:30pm
Saturday October 20 - Mittens the Nor-Way 9am-4pm - Make a traditional Norwegian mitten using 5 double point needles.
Sunday October 21 - Sweaters the Nor-Way 9am-4pm - Make a mini-cardigan with all the details of an adult sweater working with double point and circular needles and learning her technique for stranding carrying both colors in the left hand.
This weekend workshop will be held at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd., Evanston, IL.
For more information including the registration form please visit the WCKG website

It sounds like they may have to cancel the offerings if there aren't enough people who register - Show the WCKG some love!

This could be a super dumb question but are you SELLING your art at the chicago fair? I was another artist at the powderhorn fair and I got a small bowl that had the red leaves on it...i made you take out all your color samples.
